Sex Offender Law

If we can prevent sex offenders from living close to certain places where children might congregate, why can’t we create a law that prohibits a sex offender from being able to access the Internets? Where many seek their prey to begin with.

A law should be created that requires Internet Service Providers to check whether or not their customer(s) is a sex offender.  I see no problem with this, I mean 98% of sex offenders are what they are charged to be, and I have no problem with eliminating their ability to surf the Internets.

Just a thought.
