CNN: Biden is the VP Pick

And I was sitting here waiting for my text message while CNN has already confirmed with two Sr. Democratic sources that Obama’s pick for VP is Sen. Joe Biden (D-Delaware).  With Biden no where to be found, his staffers cutting their vacations short,the Secret Service sending suits to his house in Delaware, and the only chartered flight out of Chicago, Ill., tomorrow is to Delaware (presumably for the rally event Obama is holding tomorrow with his newly minted VP in the capital of Ill., Springfield) it must be Biden (because I doubt it’s that other guy from Delaware).  BTW I don’t think CNN is going to get much love from the Obama campaign since they broke just about everyone of those tells.

In the early days I supported Joe Biden, but when I found him to be a bit of a “random” speaker I thought he could never get elected with a mouth like that, I, along with the rest of the developed world, agreed.  Overall though I still like the guy, irregardless of the fact that he made fun of Indians, as I am one; hopefully he doesn’t pull a makaka on us.

Damn, and I really wanted a text message…. not… (considering I live on the West Coast any text message from the Obama campaign would surely come at 6:00 in the morning and I don’t care that much.

I expect a nice head fake tomorrow, at the very least.
