The real deal, no fluff, and no zingers - which, however, may have made it less great then Beau Biden’s speech (or any of the speeches for the night) which preceded Joe Biden’s speech.  Beau Biden’s speech was moving, although such movement may have not been felt across the screen, the cameras clearly showed emotion on the faces of the delegates, including Michelle Obama who was trying desperately to catch the tears before they ran her make-up.

Overall as Ed Rendell, I’m sorry I got that wrong, it was Huckabee’s campaign manager who is now a CNN Analyst, I forget his name but he said Joe Biden’s speech was “pedestrian.”
